Enhancing the CC resiliency of identified climate-vulnerable communities through sustainable management of natural water resources (Ponds) is funded by UNDP/GEFSGP with the objective of promoting improved climate change adaptation technologies/practices and improved water management, Multi-Use Water System. Besides, the message for conserving biodiversity by controlling forest fires and invasive species has been well disseminated through booklets printed on ‘Biodiversity survey and monitoring method’.
Bio-engineering Intervention Demonstrations for Landslide Prevention in Karnali Province (BIDLSP-KP)
The BIDLSP-KP project promotes bio-engineering and nature-based solutions to prevent landslides and reduce disaster risks in vulnerable communities of Karnali Province. The initiative supports land restoration, soil erosion control, biodiversity conservation, and community-led approaches to strengthen resilience against landslides and floods.
