The Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) in Kathmandu supported the conduct of orientation and capacity-building programs to integrate low-carbon, climate-resilient, and inclusive economic policies across federal, provincial, and local levels. These sessions align national development targets with the Sustainable Development Goals and Nepal’s Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs).

The GGGI Green Growth Orientation in Nepal, funded by the Center for International Development and Training (CIDT), strengthens the capacity of provincial and local government officials through four core training modules:

- Focuses on climate-resilient urban planning, clean energy, and circular waste management.

- Introduces climate adaptation strategies and sustainable farming techniques for local communities.
- Module 4: Green Finance
- Trains officials on budgeting, climate finance sourcing, and designing bankable green projects.
